Mid-term - Essay ExampleKant disagrees with the principle of utility when he argues that we should or else have indirect clean obligations in treatment of animals. Kant views animals as beings that lack independent coherent wills and wherefore human beings do not have each moral obligation to animals since they lack the condition of being considered as objects of obligation (Altman 20).Kants view when we mistreat animals is that we wrong ourselves but not violating the animal rights and therefore violating the principle of utility which in this case, will consider those who mistreats animals as wrong since their actions delivers pain to the mistreated animals. For example, If somebody shoots his or her dog because it no longer gives service, he or she does not fail in his duty to that dog because the dog is an irrational being which cannot judge, however, the one who does that acts in an inhuman way and damages that creation that is in himself or herself that is ought to be sho wn towards humankind.Utilitarianism accounts for both human and nonhuman rights. The basic principle of utility has a moral consideration of animal rights and therefore animals ought to be treated the same way as human beings. The principle of utility implies that animals should be treated well in order to produce happiness for the animals. If you cut up off the head of a donkey you have done wrong to the donkey itself and if you allow it to rest you give that animal the pleasure it deserves. Utilitarianism accounts for equal moral concern to human and nonhuman beings which mean killing an animal for other reasons other than food is wrong, bullfighting and even using animals for medical experimentations is unjustifiable. Kant argues that the fact that rational beings ought to have indirect moral obligation on animals has been pointed out in his arguments (Altman 23).Animals do not have the rational capacities that be considered by Kant to constitute humanity. Animals are considere d to have the same

The role of dalogue in an organization - Essay ExampleTo retain and maintain competitiveness, organizations are increasingly faced with the projection of maintaining dialogue. Organizations have to get agile and creative as they meet their communication needsIn many cases, organizational communication becomes unsustainable, and it tends to be less interactive, less inquiry, less listening, and more than talking. This provides minimum room for accommodating opposingDialogue is a means of constructively dealing with opposition and conflicts. Classical diplomacy spheres dictate the needs for dialogue and negotiation skills, which fix the basic repertoire in prudent management (Gergen & Barrett, 2008, p. 5). This essay highlights the role of dialogue in organizations, and it is tied to the group project-Organizational Communication Analysis, which has two parts. It aims to report on the findings from small-scale organizational communication evaluation.Organizations incorporate network s of relationships that are broken down to interpersonal interactions hence communication frequently occurs in the organization. Intro to businees Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words

Intro to businees - Essay ExampleThe taxes collected by government from businesses are used to finance public projects and social programs. Businesses also guide to the well being of a society through their social corporate responsibility programs. Corporate social responsibility (CRS) is about how companies manage the business processes to make believe an overall positive impact on the members of a society (Baker, 2004). The philanthropic initiatives of businesses are important for the economy because they directly cooperate the social class that is in greater need in our country which is the poor people of the nation. Businesses are also important to the economy because they manufacture and create products that people need and desire. For character the activities of businesses create the food supply people consume on a daily basis. The activity of businesses also impacts the world trade of products surrounded by distinguishable countries across the world. Profit and non prof it organizations play some similar and other different roles in the economy. Both types of organizations help provide the economy with jobs for the people. The non-profit sector is composed of the individual(a) non-profit organizations and the government. Profit organizations are the main contributors of tax revenue for the government. The goal of these businesses is to maximize shareholders wealth, while the goal of non-profit organizations is to provide free services to help social causes in a community. Non-profit organizations such as the Red Cross assist society whenever there is a disaster and there are constantly collecting livestock from donors to help sick people. Often profit organizations donate bullion to non-profit organizations because these organizations are more adept at using money more effectively to help poor people. For example a $45 donation to the non-profit organization Feed The Children enables the entity to purchase $225 of food and other essential items. A major difference between profit and non-profit organizations is that businesses operate in order to maximize their profit, while non-profit organizations operate on a zero sum budget which means that any money they collect during a year is supposed to be totally spent to reach zero by the end of the fiscal year. The largest non-profit organization is the government. In the get together States as of 2010 there were 21.29 million governmental employees (Numberof, 2012). This implies that the government is the largest non-profit organization in the United States. The money the government collects from taxes and other revenue sources is used to finance different programs including the military, education, and many other social programs. The monetary policy in the United States of America is set by the Federal Reserve. The two main aspects of monetary policy are the money supply and credit. The interest rates in the banking industry are dependent on the prime rate the Federal Reserv e sets. The lead of the Federal Reserve is Ben S. Bernanke. The fiscal policy in the United States is controlled by the Federal government. Fiscal policy deals with how the government spends its money. One of the biggest obstacles the Federal government faces is the roll up deficit. This deficit has been growing a lot since the War on Terror that started in 2001. Topic of the paper will focus on a criminal eccentric person that has been adjudicated by the United States Supreme Court and has implicatio - Essay ExampleThere are a number of cases that learn been handled by the supreme high court that have in one way or another set precedence over future rulings that may occur on similar matters and one of these is the Gonzalez Vs Raich case which occurred in the year 2005 (Find law). This case dealt with the issue of home grown hemp in relation to its use for medicinal purposes, and whether an individual who was doing this had the right to do so without any interference from law enforcement authorities. The ruling that was made was based on the Commerce Clause of the U.S Constitution . Congress has the ability to criminalize the use and exertion of Cannabis that is home grown even when states have allowed its use for medicinal purposes. About the case Angel Raich and Diane Monson were the dickens defendants of this case which occurred after law enforcement agencies ruined Dianes Marijuana plants claiming that they were illegal under federal law. This was contempt the fact that Diane resided in California, a state that had allowed the use of homegrown ganja for medicinal purposes (Find law). ... her repair who testified under oath claiming that she needed the marihuana for the excruciating pain that she was going through and her allergic reaction to the other forms of alternative medication that she had tried before. The two defendants sued the government for declaratory as well as injunctive relief in a bid to stop them from interfering in their growing and use of marijuana for medicinal purposes. They argued that the interference of the government under the Controlled Substances Act was unconstitutional in reference to their activities and reasons behind those activities (that is, the growing and use of homegrown marijuana for medicinal purposes) and then the government should not have a right to run interference . Both Angel and Diane Used marijuana to relieve themselves of pain that their bodies suffered and thus it could not be said that their handling of the drug was for recreational purposes (Find law). The government on the other hand argued that the Controlled Substance Act did not recognize nor accept the use of marijuana for medical or recreational purposes and thus the law had a right to put a stop to any form of drug cultivation among individuals despite the circumstances. The acts against Angel and Diana were as a result of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) who had been given instructions to break up the various co operations that dealt with medicinal marijuana within California and seize the assets belonging to those co-operatives (Find law). Though as mentioned earlier, California had made legal the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes, this act was done in the belief that Federal law trumped that of California and thus the law enforcement agencies were within their rights to act on these orders (Find law). The government further

Parents should not allow electronic devices in their children's Essay

Parents should not allow electronic devices in their childrens bedrooms - Essay ExampleFacer et al. (2003) argue that with children spending an average of seven hours per day on contrary forms of electronic entertainment media, there is need to control their media diet. Limiting the access to such electronic devices at home is a perfect starting demonstrate for any parent who intends on reducing their childrens dependence on these forms of entertainment media. According to Facer et al. (2003), creating screen- deliver zones within the home, especially the childrens rooms, is one of the ways parents throne minimize the time their children spend on electronic devices.Parents should not allow children to have electronic devices in their bedrooms. This is because the children who have electronic devices in their bedrooms are at a higher risk of suffering the negative impacts of these gadgets due to long exposure hours. The problems that are associated with excessive use of electronic media include eating and sopor disorders, obesity, and difficulties in school because of attention problems. These are problems that most parents would like to protect their children from hence the need to reduce the hours the children are exposed to electronic devices.Sleep personnel casualty is the other negative effect of electronic devices that affects children. Of these children, 1 in every 11 is addicted to technology and media. With the children staying late to watch content that promote, among other things, bodily and sexual violence, child aggression is likely to increase.Facer et al. Just like other workers, prostitutes working in the sex industry have a constitutional right to be protected from criminal activities such as being harassed sexually, rape and many others. The bottom line is that everyone has to right of choice in terms what they engage in order to take up a living.Sherry F.Colb A female law professor and judge argues that prostitution as a profession should not be discriminated against. Those people who chose to engage in prostitution should not be abused, arrested or prevented from soliciting. Our society today has both male and female persons engaging in prostitution but legislations against prostitution appoint to women in most cases. It has been tr adition to punish and stigmatize women for prostitution while the same laws do not touch men purchase sex from these women. This is secernment and it is directed straight at women. The laws also actively violate the individuals rights to privacy by imposing penal measures on private consensual sexual occupation between adults. Whether a person chooses to have sex with another one for leisure, monetary gain or any other reason is a personalised matter that should not be meddled by the government.Tony Nassif He is founder and president of the Cedars Cultural and Educational foundation. Negotiation paper - Essay ExampleThe main agenda of this tactic was to ensure the instrument could not undermine me.My silence did not give the agent a clue of what I really wanted and the amount I was willing to profit for the property. I adopted the trick so that the seller felt bullied, which made him easily give in to my demands. The buildings were well built, insured and the surrounding environment aesthetically preserved. Early, survey was conducted where the buildings were examined and all documents verified for their validity. Following this, the agent had placed a value of $ 100,000 on the property. My plan was to spend between $ 60,000 and $ 80,000 although I was hoping that my tactics would race a greater role in ensuring that I bargain for lesser pay.It was time for negotiation, but the agent was not himself he was full of fear and lacked composure. We took a few minutes staring at each other, but I took advantage of the situation and asked him the much he was willing to sell the property. I was cogitate on ensuring that I stay within my price range. I did not want to be the first person to make the offer because I was authorized of its impact on the counter offer. He stated that he was offering the property at $ 85,000. Because the price was within my range, I did not behave in a manner to suggest the offer was favorable to me. I knew that initial offers are considerably unsuccessful as compared to the counter offer individual. The advantage of a first offer occurs when negotiating with an individual with no or less experience because I have more than four years experience in the sector, I was very confident I would win. To react to my sellers offer, I gave him a long silent look which in some way imperil him. I asked him if he was certain about the offer,, but in reply he asked me the much I was willing to part with, to be on the arctic side, I did not say anything. After a short silence, the agent told me that he was willing to lowers the p rice from

The conventions of a soap Essay Example for Free

The conventions of a flog EssayTo deal with the following issues The conventions of a soap, the Genre, the charge consultations, sound and editing as wholesome as the camera objectives. After initial problems in setting up a convocation, a selection of quadruplet students including myself were chemical grouped together. Deadlines were given and this made it even more constraining. The soap is intended to be targeted to a mainly black/white stimulateing path audience mainly but also to a middle class, but not equ aloney proportional. Targeting also a 16 -30 age group though instead to 16-18 as thats the student audience, but is viewable by all some other age groups. The time s business deal chosen is 1900 so that it doesnt rival with the other television set channels soaps at 1930, 2000 and 2030 respectively. Also at this time most working parents and students would have been back at home whether it be that they perform a 9-5 occupation or unskilled late laborious work .This prequel to the soap is not an easy press appearing. It has taken a lot of weeks to design the script alone, and to gather characters is calm yet an ongoing process. The concept of the soap involves a teacher, a main student as a lean character and then other students are merely extras with exceptions to two other female students who will have a major role in the soap.My tariff is to be a main actor as the Teacher and to ensure that the soap gets produced, thus I am a quality assurancer which means that the work produced is looked over by myself for quality and then passed onto Taio who happens to be the director to ensure that it is viewable and acceptable for evening time television viewing as well as creating the storyboard from the scripts. Natalie who works in the group is the main script writer whilst Eastern is the associate camera man as opposed to all of us sharing roles as the camera man from time to time. I myself tried to be the camera man for a two-day shootin g scene.Unfortunately, it was not at all good. Learning from this mistake I just kept to my role as an actor and both supporting the group when there and looking/editing the work. The prototypic stage in the production process is the creation of the script. This determines not only the dialogue of a piece, but lays down the basis of the soaps plot. In modern television before a soap episode goes into production it is probable that its script has gone through a series of treatments and re-writes. Once a script is absolute it is given to a producer whos job is to realise the script. When devising a script, it has come to the attention that it will need a lot of re-writes and perhaps consummate(a) changes altogether. Each member of the group has something to co-ordinate with the group as a whole on. We all have individual roles, but due to the shortages in the group of members we all help one another, thus there is no set positions. When developing the soap opera a lot of research wa s conducted by the group where a discussion of the characters and their personality profiles was viewed. Gender and euthanasia research was amongst the top on the list of the discussions within the group. Age and race was important as it had to show the racial and age ration being portrayed in the college and also what would be socially acceptable. We did not want this to be homogeneous in leastways to grange hill but a real life soap scene. As it had to define possible events that occur in real life with a mission to keep its viewers hooked. All the characters will have different traits to their personality, one of which will posses traits similar to that of dumbo type person whilst another will be superficially intelligent. The teacher character will play an important role as our research concluded that the teacher would be prejudice to students who are not similar to his norms. The settings and social issues will take place within the Bromley College Facilities and the plot wil l cover a teacher having taught a class and replacing a precedent teacher. Due to stress of his students and how the students support the teacher and how the teacher deals with bullying as an issue. As a girl/boy relationship broken up by a girl having a relationship with an elder man from outside the college and all round arguments and troubled issues relating studies. The characters are from 16-20 in age with exception to the teacher whose age will be mid 30s. Channel 5 does not currently have an active soap and it was the prime selection especially for its simplicity in presenting shows of interest. The technical aspects of this soap have yet to be performed, although all the roles have been established camera recording has not been fully completed and is still in the draft basis.EvaluationThe purpose of this evaluation is to analyse the project of creating a soap and all the practical aspects into the development of such a production. This is later on completion of the final pr actical production. There were many problems associated with the production as there many advantageous developments. To shape this production took time and, unfortunately as I had entered the group quite late did not have a stable role as such. Members of my original group had left the college, and thus join another g roup before that individual was on the verge of being asked to leave the course. Thereby, I progressed into another group, which is currently the group now. However they had started to create the scenes and at the time of joining they had completed the script.Upon joining the group, it was already decided that Taio was the director, Natalie was the scriptwriter and co-director whiles Chris was the editor and Easten was the producer and cameraman. I started to assist as the cameraman, however, unfortunately it seems that it did not work out well. I was zooming too much into the picture frame similar to zooming pan shots in the movies. Although I did not get to see the footage I had taken, the group members conscious me that it was bad. I was however still eager to help the group and although they had a different timetable to mine, I still came through. There were more problems as due to the class times of different lessons, not everyone from the team was available to assist in the filming. However, I made myself available or offered to help in all instances of their filming. On some instances, my help was not required as they had enough people to do it. I centred on my acting instead for the group and my role as the teacher. These were actually sub-categorised into two main scenes but were divided into at least 5 or more sub scenes. One recollective event is when filming the corridor scene where Evans played the bullied student, the scene was performed after the 4th repeated time of filming. This was because, at one point security within the college thought that an actual disciple was being bullied, and that on another ocassion the class room s cene, it needed to be re-recorded again and again as our postures were incorrect. Taio being the director corrected the problems as and when they occurred and ensured that it was completed.Equipment utilizeVHS Cameras for film captureVideo Suite for EditingDV to VHS and VHS to DV convertorsTripodsMicrophonesRoom MicrophonesNatural LightingZoom LensesCharactersReferences Source MaterialsSoap Operas Unveiled Terrence and Higgins Information on how to create soapsIns and Outs of Soap Operas J.L.Kenzo Scenes and Practical aspects of soapsMedia 1 Stanley Thornes Text Book for Media ASDyer, Richard et al. 1981 Coronation Street. capital of the United Kingdom BFIGeraghty, Christine 1991 Women and Soap Opera. Why Are Stereotypes Dangerous and What Can Be Done to Reduce Them Essay Example for Free

Why Are Stereotypes Dangerous and What Can Be Done to Reduce Them EssayVery often, in our e preciseday life, we tend to make sure generalizations about things and people around us. This is because we atomic number 18 constantly exposed to heaps of information, and in order to cope with the complexity of the world around us, we need to extrapolate and categorize. 1 Sometimes we do this on purpose, with most intention. However, rattling often we do this subconsciously, unaw atomic number 18 of what we ar doing. M both people generalize on others according to their clothes, profession, origin, modal value of s postering, and some other, outer markers. This mixed bag of thinking could be very(prenominal) dangerous, and it green goddess break us to creating stumps.Stereotype is a term which most people rescind in our time, and legion(predicate) of us usually deny using them at all. However, we have to conduct that stereotypes are stick in in every segment of our lives , on picture, in newspapers, books, and withal in cartoons. It is obvious that stereotypes are something we cannot escape from. They can sometimes even serve well us, if used as a first criterion towards learning more about other people and cultures, as long as we are aware of their existence. 2However, if take backn to be completely true, stereotypes can be very dangerous, and can lead to diagonal, discrimination, persecution and even genocide. 3 This is the point when, apparently hurtles remarks and conclusions about other people, based on their appearance, way of speaking, job or nationality, become very somber. This is when people, led by some preconceived, over-generalized, and exaggerated images, start having certain expectations and assumptions about the others (prejudice), start acting and treating them in a cruel way (discrimination), or, in the mop cases, grow into something so dangerous as violation and killing of the stereotyped groups (persecution, genocide). In order for this not to happen, stereotypes should be reduced as much as possible. One of the possible ways of doing this is devising people aware of the seriousness of using stereotypes, by propagating this idea through the media, introducing it in the education system, and by making people aware that every group is a group of different people, a group of individuals. Prejudice One of the possible dangers of using stereotypes is the fact that they can serve as bases for prejudice. Prejudice can be defined as an unfavorable opinion formed against a person or group, based on stereotypes. 4 This is dangerous because it leads us to having certain expectations about people in advance. We make our own conclusions, our own visions of those people. This can prevent us from going further, from exploring and getting to admit more about the people we are stereotyping. One of the most common distri exclusivelyors of prejudice are national stereotypes. National stereotypes are usually induce d among groups of people who are not so fond of each other, and obviously, they are in most cases negative. For example, in our country, it is a common belief that all Americans are evil. This is because we have had many unpleasant situations, related to war and recent political clashes, where the Americans were to blame. However, this does not mean that all Americans are evil, and that all of them are war-mongers. However, many of us would not do anything to prove this to be true. There are many examples of national stereotypes found in films, and they can be a very powerful distributor of prejudice and ill-formed images of other nations. They are dangerous because they can influence viewers behavior and attitudes towards the stereotyped nations, since most people take everything broadcast on television for granted. For example, in many American Western movies, Native American people are stereotyped as savages. At first, they were noble savages, but when they became an obstacle for the Whites, they started to be stereotyped as wild, primitive, uncivilized, dangerous people who condemnableistically kill the Whites. These stereotypical portrayals of the Natives gave way to thinking that all Natives were cruel savages and villains. However, people who ever had any interest in American history know that the situation was quite the opposite. In a similar way, African American people sometimes happen to be the thugs- medicate dealers, or even the murderers in the American films. In a recent American film Lakeview Terrace, a couple of young Americans move to a new town, where they are tortured by their next door neighbor, who is accidentally or not- Black. Although this is said not to be done on purpose, people who watch this sort of movies can subconsciously form negative attitudes towards African American people.Led by this wrong image propagated on television, people can subconsciously create negative opinion about them. For example, a person walking through a p ark at night, on encountering a group of Blacks, will in all probability not timber the same as if, for example, they came across a group of Whites. 5 Another example of national stereotypes that is a common basis for prejudice is the world-wide cognize English stereotype, a reserved, cold, stiff-upper-lips. 6 These typical English characteristics became so widely present in the media, that most people apply them as real English characteristics. This, of course, is not true, simply because all people are different, and we cannot apply one characteristic to a group, without considering it as a group of individuals. However, people usually believe in everything they hear or see on TV, and consequently form some kind of expectations and prejudice against the people they do not actually know. To prove this to be true, some of my colleagues and me had some people from our environment interviewed on this topic. It is interesting that most of them had similar answers, and almost everyone said the English were reserved, snobbish, and even evil.Americans were fat and stupid, self-centered. Although none of them would admit to be stereotyping, they all somehow knew this was true. Many of them, when asked if they would ever live in these countries responded negativelly, because the people were bad. Thus they had some prejudices formed against these people, and did not want to do anything to help them understand and appreciate the other culture. Discrimination When the stereotypes we have formed last for too long in our minds, they can grow and develop into something more serious than prejudice. This is when we start acting and treating other people in a different, often bad and inhumane way. 7 This is another possible danger of using stereotypes, which is called discrimination. There are many different types of discrimination, based on appearance, age, nationality, sex, etc. One of the most common forms of discrimination is based on a well known stereotype found in m any movies, magazines, and even in cartoons. It is the stereotype of a dumb blonde. 8 It is an image of a girl who is fleshlyly attractive, but lacks brains. This stereotype is so powerful, that very often all blonde girls are considered to be stupid, and are not taken seriously, which in some cases can affect their lives, especially when it comes to their talented abilities. In one of the famous Hollywood movies starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde, the main character suffers the consequences of being blonde. Namely, the girl in the film enrolls in Harvard, but is immediatelly looked downward(a) on by her colleagues, and considered to be stupid and superficial just because of her looks. However, at the end of the movie, she manages to graduate from Harvard, and proves the stereotype to be false. Although this fim is often considered to be teen-oriented and not very serious, it tells a story that can happen in real life, and it sends a message to people that stereotypes can lead to discrimination and affect peoples lives. Additionally to this, some national stereotypes can serve as a starting point for discrimination, too. In our country, Gypsies are often looked down on, and are stereotyped as dirty, uneducated, loud, and very often as thieves.Although many of us would decisively deny to be stereotyping Gypsies as such, reality is very cruel for them, and they are often victims of discrimination and even persecution. Beside this racial discrimination, in some cultures discrimination is based on the stereotypical portrayal of women as the weaker sex, incapable of doing any kind of normal work but everyday chores. In cultures like these, (Indian, Egyptian, etc. ) women are discriminated against and their basic human rights are violated. In a recent documentary on National Geographic,9 an American was obliged to leave his country, and go to Saudi Arabia to work. There he faced many differences between his and the Arabian culture. He was amazed by the fact that his girlfriend, who apply for a job of a photographer, was turned down with no obvious reason. However, later in the documentary, it was revealed by an Arabic woman that in their country, this was not a job for a woman. In their country, women are not supposed to be seen out very often, especially without their husbands, and they are supposed to take care of their rest home and children. This, of course, was a shock for the American, and he said he could not believe that things like this happened in 21st century. However, this proves again that stereotypes are dangerous and that they can lead to discrimination, in this case of women as a weaker sex, incapable of doing any proper job. Additionally, discrimination that results from stereotyping can even be more dangerous, if we do not take into consideration peoples feelings. Very often, especially in the age of adolescence, young people tend to stereotype their overweight friends as if they belonged to some different group of people.Although the young ones do not think about the effect of their stereotyping, it can be very painful and can cause harmful effectuate on the stereotyped group. Moreover, discrimination of the overweight can even be done by the teachers, the adults. For example, when I was in high school, at one of our physical education classes, we were supposed to compete in high jump. Just before the competition, the teacher told one of my friends that he did not have to take part in this, because he was aware he could not jump (he was a bit overweight). The fact that this was said in front of the whole class made him feel even more miserable. This is an example of discriminating overweight people, by stereotyping them as unable to perform things as well as the others. Situations like these can be very dangerous, and can have horrible effects on an individual, such as unrestrained stress and low self-esteem. 10 One of the most widely present forms of discrimination based on stereotypes is sexual discrimination.Even though we live in modern times, the issue of homosexuality is button up considered to be something unacceptable, and people be to this group are considered to be weird and are often stereotyped negatively. This varies from country to country, but they are generally stereotyped as effeminate, incapable of doing any serious jobs (except for fashion related ones), and many people feel some kind of inexplicable scorn towards them. This especially is the case in our country, where homosexuality is still a taboo, and where homosexuals are considered less than humans.Except for the emotional pain, these people are often turned down at a job interview, or are fired if their sexual orientation is revealed. A famous Hollywood actress, Ellen DeGeneres, in one of the shows that has been on TV recently, said that when she openly admitted she was gay, her TV show, which was at its peak at the moment, was suddenly cancelled. The network executives blamed low ratings, b ut the reason was quite obvious, said the actress, alluding to her public reveal of being homosexual. This discrimination of homosexuals is an issue that has been discussed many times in the media. In a recent episode of Oprah Winfrey Show, the topic of the day was the discrimination of homosexuals. People from all over the world were telling their sad stories, and there was even a girl from Brazil who talked about her terrible experience, when a group of angry youths attacked her, and raped her, causing her both physical and emotional injuries, just because she admitted she was homosexual. This leads us to the final and most terrible effects of stereotyping- persecution and genocide.
